Thought we were quite comfortable through the game, was a good contest, the last 20 mins Given was awesome kept them in the game.
Quite confident we will be able to beat them at OT. After getting knocked out of the FA Fergie has no choice but to play his first team.

United playing most of their first team, would they be playing the reserves if it wasn't for the chance of City denying them the right to sing that '28 years' song?
It's 33 years.

But they'd put out the first team at Eastlands but not Old Trafford? Duh...

Fergie might admit defeat and raise the white flag.

The very fact he put out his first team for a Carling Cup semi-final shows he's a bit concerned.

Gary Neville's likely to be in trouble for his response to Tevez's goal:

Er, what do you think that was?
Got a big game coming up not long after the 2nd leg. Still a definite 'if' for me whether they put the same side out

He's just answering the question "how many people in the world don't think you're a complete c*nt?"
And even then, Phil's opinion is wavering...

It's always nice to see the jock's mouth zipped shut - bar his voracious gum chewing and senile induced spit projections when confronting the 4th official.
Well done Tevez.

The mighty Arse choking once again under the slight pressure that they might actually be in with a chance of going top.
Has there ever been a more mentally weak team in Premier League history?

How about Spurs? Liverpool have lost to Reading, Villa, Portsmouth, and Arsenal in the past 6 weeks. Spurs have a chance to really secure a top-four spot against them, and trail 1-0.Dello wrote:The mighty Arse choking once again under the slight pressure that they might actually be in with a chance of going top.

Fluked it, they have.
Barely won a single header in 90 minutes. A decent side would've crushed them.

Not only has Jay woofed Arsenal to a win, it looks like they will be going top.
