SA tour of India
Will we have a single first choice middle order batsman fit for the series? Dravid, , Sachin, Laxman, Psycho and Yuvi all injured in the Bang test series. Hopefully Sachin's not serious, nobody has any news though.

SA are in disarray. The only thing in their favour is their quality pace attack.
Re: SA tour of India
SA doesn't have a coach and seems to be imploding!

Surely a good thing that he's injured?

Will be a treat if 'the big 4' play 'the big 3'. Thank f*ck we'll get that series.
Re: SA tour of India
For a former Yuvi supporter, I have to admit that after Dravid got injured my first thoughts were - shit, that cements Yuvraj's place in the playing XI for the SA tests. Ideal XI, assuming Dravid and Yuvraj are out -

Pandey may be a Trev-esque pick, but there's something obviously classy about him that may just react positively to being thrust at the highest level.

kohli and sharma are probably at the front of the queue. pandey would be a left-field choice

Yeah. But I'd like it if they did take a risk.

Pandey? Is he the bloke what dragged the ball along the ground for 2 or 3 metres and still claimed the catch?

I say this is a blessing in disguise, perhaps the only way in which the selectors would have been allowed to plan for the future.

I think it is.
Badrinath to replace Dravid
------------------------------------------
Pandey to replace Yuv
Rohit Sharma on the bench.

Re: SA tour of India
saffies choking before the tour even starts? first the coach and now the selection panel
http://www.cricinfo.com/southafrica/content/story/445926.html
having said that they may well hammer us 2-0 if we dont get the batting order right considering all the injuries and our bowlers especially harbhajan continue to be comatose

Why couldn't we just have sent a second generation batting line up in Bangarland?

Most inexplicable is that Dravid and Yuvi are still in Bangarland instead of returning home early for earlier remedies.....

Vijay is the first guy in now, so no way Badrinath is getting in ahead of him. Also get the feeling Badri's missed his train.
