The backline will still be awesome but the likes of Mitch Moses and Jack Wighton won't be a patch on the Penrith duo as a playmaking heart.

Kayl Ponga may be back for Qld also.

Will be interesting to see if the Turbo/Latrell/Teddy/Fox/To'o quintet can get good ball from the halves.

Damned Qld spirit. Ben Hunt had a MoM blinder (hope he does the same for the Drags for the remaining games). He and Ponga were the difference.

Moses and Wighton took the 1st half to find some sort of combo. By then it was 2 points too late.

Latrell attempted a penalty kick from half way 2 mins out. It was straight but fell 5 m short. Would've taken it to extra time.

Anywho, the record will show the Blues as 2021 champs.

Yes - the DBSP state always looked more convincing with the ball and a few of their defensive efforts were outstanding. For about 20 minutes after the disallowed try, NSW barely fired a shot.

The 10-16 scoreline flattered the Blues. Perhaps they'll play some football in Perth instead of bash and barge.
