Wouldn't be surprised if there's a few on field incidents in this game. England are apparently annoyed as hell and what the series called off.

This surely has to be the most controversial tour of all times.

Really - does anyone G A F anymore?
It's patently clear the ECB want desperately to wrap this series up and bin it - but because the ICC (and ECB) fear a backlash of legal reprcussions costing a couple of million from the bent and crooked incumbents in the PCB, neither dare cancel.
AFAIC, after this current series, the ECB should now draw a firm line under all things concerning Pakistan cricket - and refuse to entertain them here or anywhere else for that matter, in future. Make them pariahs and outcasts like Zimbabwe ... as clearly no one in future will ever believe a result that involves any Pakistan player. I firmly believe that the rot goes much deeper than just the three or four who have been caught out ... and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the top brass in the PCB are also involved - (In fact, I'd bet on it ) - they certainly seem to be doing all they can to muddy the waters whilst issuing hollow "innocent till proven guilty" statements despite all the damning evidence (marked ££ notes in Butt's hotel room for one) to the contrary.
F**k them, I say - they've made cricket the laughing stock and have almost brought this great game to its knees ...
The sooner they bugger off back to Karachi, the better ... cricketing confrontations with them now have become totally meaningless..... win, lose or draw - won't make the slightest bit of difference.

Looks like there was some altercation between Wahab Riaz and Trott in the nets.
As if we didn't have enough controversies on this tour.

Kamran & Hafeez' 62 for the 1st wicket is the highest opening partnership by Pakistan in an ODI at Lord's beating 32 by Amir Sohail and Ramiz Raja there in 1992.

I wonder what the papers and ICC are making of the current scoring patterns.

Swann's 4-37 BB by an England spinner in any Lord's ODI beating Underwood's 3-27 (if you count him as a spinner) against the Windies here in 1976.

How much more evidence do England need that Tim Bresnan isn't up to it at the top level?

Razzaq & Gul's 55* highest for Pakistani 8th wicket in any ODI in England beating 42 by the same pair in the last match at The Oval last Friday.

Strauss continues his impressive ODI season, quite a contrast to his recent Test form, at least it's showing he's not completely out of nick ahead of getting on the plane to Australia and his run of low scores was largely down to good bowling and difficult conditions for opening batsmen.

5th century opening partnership for England in a Lord's ODI and first since 132 by Knight & Atherton v. SL in August 1998.

Tee Hee .... I love this betting malarkey!
I put a score on the Paks at 4/1 to win (had a good day on the gigis hence the exuberant flutter) - when England passed 100 without loss.
Collecting tomorrow!

Can anyone remember the last time Collingwood made any runs?

So Gul skittled the Poms again?? Lordy, that's ordinary.
Will Ijaz Butt now come out again and finger the Poms?
I see the twit has retracted his outrageous claims about the 3rd JAMODI overnight. What a d!ck.

Re: England v Pakistan, 4th ODI, Lords, Sep 20, 2010
Well have just got back from the match. I'd have plenty of cricketing observations but I didn't know quite how big the back story was. Looking back England's body language was poor, Pakistan on the other were well and truly up for it (Afridi is quite a man to watch). I'd like to dissect the cricket but one side admitted to playing "through gritted teeth" and stormed off without shaking hands...something was very wrong about it. I think we're seeing the true damage match fixing does- it turns everything to sh*t after a while.
Although I'm obviously a bitter Englishman, the Pakistani fans seemed to have a wonderful time.
Oh and Yardy ...for f*cking, f*cks sake. Why? He bowled a lot worse than the 7 overs for 39 suggests. The comparison with Swann, let alone Hafeez, was stunning.
