I'd thought I'd have more to say but the whole spot/match fixing just sort of left me feeling a bit stuck. It's all sub-judice at the moment and I'd only have unkind thoughts directed towards Pakistan cricket to express which doesn't sit easily with someone who works in cultural relations and reads the Guardian (but only on a Saturday).

The only opinions I had on the Ashes squad were that Panesar & Tremlett should be picked- they were, I wouldn't have even released so much as a sigh if they weren't though.

Has anything else happened in cricket/racism?

I've been busy as feck, and yeah the match fixing drama has left a sour taste so not forumming much at the moment.

Mrbucket and I can confirm that he is still alive (via activity on another medium), but he has alas steered clear of Bails in recent months.
