Time for another video games thread. What's everyones game of choice in 2011?

I'm so 2009 as far as gaming is concerned - I got bought Assassins Creed 1,2 & Brotherhood for xmas. Still got Mass Effect dusting away on a shelf too...

What is Atari bringing out this year?

My computer's probably timed-out for most modern games now, so I haven't bought anything for a year or so.

For shame. But it doesn't seem worth forking out another grand for a new system just so I can play the latest FPS and finish it in three days.

Oh, don't do that. I have nostalgic memories of Pitfall being awesome.

New Deus Ex game is out soon. Looks pretty decent, so will probably turn out shite. I hope you can be as much of a dick to people as you could in the first game.

You young'uns. I've still got a bit of nostalgia for pinball machines and Pong.

Though a relative still has a working Atari and introduced qmyjr to the joys of space invaders, pacman and frogger.

I'm looking forward to Uncharted 3, The Last Guardian, Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls V and Killzone 3 mainly. Might also get the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection as well.

LA Noir's looks interesting too. The facial animations look very good.

I bought Goldeneye for my son's Wii to remind me of my N64 days, which was the last console I had. Great fun, but I'm struggling to get past the tank bit.

Eugh, the hours I spent on that game in my yoof was ridiculous. Never did manage to get all the cheats either, think I was either 1 or 2 away.

Don't f**k with me on Facility Proximity mines though.

Facility toilets + mines = great fun.

I remember the Ghostbusters game but i had the Mega Drive version.

The first pic there of 'Football Manager' reminds me, it took 20 mins to load by cassette on my c64. Only to sometimes get the dreaded 'load error'

I was just having a look at release dates of consoloes, I don't know why I ever had a commodore 64, I can't have been playing computer games earlier than when I was 5 and the master system had been out for four years at that time.

I remember the batman game on the commodore 64, I always got stuck on either the 2nd or 3rd level but I knew a trick you could do with the tape to make it skip to the final level, so I got to complete it.... Kind of....
