Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Sandies just all out for 190 - Vague not out 97. Spivs need 251 to win.
Tozzies still going steadily in Adelaide - 1-62 in search of 377.
Viles are rubbish - that is all.

Rain is the only thing that can save the home final now.
Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Hmm, not sure. The Adelaide Hwy sounds very roady at the moment. Tozzies will need around 260-270 or so tomoz.
And the Spivs are headed up by the evil Con.

I'm very disappointed ... was hoping to watch some of the Final.
Tassie's only hopes: lots of rain in Sydney tomorrow, an apocalyptic Dubber collapse, or a miraculous batting performance from Bailey.

Phurt. GCS follows his 1st innings ton with a single. Spivs already 1-1. Crabs.

Sydney forcast for tomorrow:
Partly cloudy. Patchy morning fog. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Light winds tending east to northeasterly up to 20 km/h during the afternoon.
Sounds like the rain may come a little too late to help Tassie.

Spivs need 224 and Tozzies 276, both with 9 wickets left. Interesting final days coming up.

Hmm, Spivs 2-31 at Stumps and Tozzies 1-131 and still going. I think the Belerive curator can start the roller.

Tozzie outright looking more likely than a Spiv one. Spivs now 3-63 and Tozzies 1-148.

Tassie still needs 200 + ... one wicket and we're in the proverbial.
NSW needs just one decent partnership, eg from its two Test players at the crease, and they're almost there.
Interesting next two hours.

And the roller is now well and truly rumbling over the road it's building at Bellerive. Spastic Spivs 4-107 at lunch and Tozzies still motoring along only 1 down with just 152 to get. Well played, the two-heads.

light rain starting to fall in Adelaide apparently. Both teams need about 70-80 runs to win outright

Aye, Spivs need 68 with 5 in hand and Tozzies need 82 with 7 in hand. Oops, make that 6 in hand - George Bailey just out.
And fark me, if Con isn't doing the job for the Spivs.

FFS, Dubbers doing their best to lose this.
Still, all pretty academic given the outstanding run chase from the Tozzies.

Actually Spivs just won, but Cossie should get the Tozzies home.

From CA: "Over 107.4: Putland to Cosgrove, no run, plays back and the ball bounce back over the top of the stumps - luck for Cossy there!"
Gods are with the Tozzies.
But Cossie was an excellent acquisition for the Tozzies this season. He's the top scorer in the Shield.

Well i was right about the gutless Wozzie chokers. Totally capitulated on the last day but it seems our brave Tassie boys are made of sterner stuff. Just 10 runs to get to claim the home final.
