Lee, Tait and Johnson- THEY ARE QUICK!
What a PACE attack AUS have once again, 3 very fast bowlers plus Watson
If it wasn't for India's heavenly batting lineup i would have put AUS as the favorites to win the WC(again)
They should make it to the final purely based on pace.

Tait is so quick he bowled one ball so fast it arrived before he'd even delivered it. Unfortunately for him the batsman was still playing at the previous ball and he accidently smashed it for four.

Yep. Australia's got it in the bag. All they have to do is let Tait, Lee and Johnson bowl flat out. The eight or more runs an over they'll concede on flat subcontinental pitches won't be any problem...

Since this thread appears to primarily be about checkers
Has anyone ridiculed Aus for hiring Murali to teach our spinners how to bowl?
Next we'll be hiring Butt to teach us ethics and prior to lecture us about fair play

I agree. They're so FAST, and it's all about PACE. I don't see how anyone can withstand the sheer SPEED of these guys, because FAST bowling is all about PACE and nothing else!!!!!

Yep, Aus should walk the WC.
These are the pace bowlers who just destroyed the poms in the Ashes.

PP, may your God bless you, but the two leading wicket takers in Test matach history delivered the ball at about 85kmh.
Australia have the potential to get rolled by a side like Ireland if those three are in the attack together.

There is also an old cricket saying that tests are won by bowlers and ODI's by batsmen.

If Lee and Tait end up being in the same team, how many overs combined are they likely to bowl before they break down?

It's in inverse proportion to the number of good balls bowled. It's a complicated formula. You have to compute the number of good balls per over, divide by six and then add back the no balls and wides at a factor of 1.75. Then you have to compute the ratio of boundary balls factoring in the the additional value of the six and free hit. Then.....
Fark it. I have a headache
