I just rated them on their scant appearances, they totted up better than most - i.e. did it when it mattered to get us through to the quarters. I thought it would be a good rationale to undertake whilst adjudicating the squad's performances.

Well, I'm certainly not saying "keep the chappies in the squad". I just like to tell it how it is. I've given myself the mantle of the forum's Victor Trumper and I'm sticking to it.
