Big Dog - no mention of Hicks
Latest Wikileaks revealed that Hicks had far more contact with terrorist links than was first revealed....which make Bob Brown, who supported Hicks, an even bigger ******...if thats at all possible

While Googling "vagina face" (see above - yes, I could've used much more graphic versions ) I had a chuckle at this image...

It amazes me that in a country as big as America they really only have two main parties. And that they sometimes struggle to actually produce quality candidates every four years.
Time to put some money on Obama at 1.65 eighteen months out.

Maybe, maybe not but you should be warned that at this stage in their Presidencies Jimmy Carter and George Bush Snr (who had scored an approval rating of 90% in the wake of the successful conclusion of the First Gulf War in 1991) were looking equally safe against an equally lacklustre field of opponents which included, in Carter's case, a retired actor with right-wing pretensions, and in Bush's case, an adulterous Southern governor.
I would be surprised if the first African-American President were to follow in the footsteps of William Howard Taft, Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter and George Bush Snr as a one-term President but Obama is making that prospect more not less likely with every passing day rather like Carter did in 1979-80.
This very literate and well-balanced article (in 2 parts) points out why Obama's re-election is not such a foregone conclusion as the generally accepted wisdom and his more enthusiastic supporters believe it to be:

When he was an actor and in his youth Reagan was a left-wing Democrat who hero-worshipped FDR. Also some of his films ain't half bad and for every Bedtime for Bonzo there is a Kings Row as well as this "forgotten gem" from 1951 in which he played a crusading DA taking on the KKK alongside Ginger Rogers and Doris Day (in non-singing and -dancing roles):

2012 is Obama's to lose - you just have to look at the fruit loops the Republicans are going to put up against him.

It's at times like this that you really wish Gaddafi had won.
As for Hicks, I couldn't have given a sh!t if they gassed him AFTER A FAIR TRIAL (if only for rank stupidity).
Still he's now in good company. Though I doubt if Socrates or Solzhenitsyn want him as a member of the club.

From memory we came back with more than half the spending money we took. Yep, it was pretty cheap over there. And we only drove once, hired a car and went down to San Diego Sea World. Fark, driving on the wrong side of the car on the wrong side of the road took a bit of concentration. There was this natural reflex to want to locate your body near the right lane marker, so found myself drifting right all the time. And it was 5 lines both ways and it was wall to wall cars coming home. Californians love their cars!!!!

Hehehe. The biggest worry was turning left into oncoming traffic without looking i.e. looking right for traffic. Friends warned us of that trick for young players.
