Romney is like the Morman George W Bush, except without that slight radiance of innocence that comes with being stupid that Bush Junior had.

Since when was there a time limit on editing posts? Just realised I spelt Mormon wrong.....

Always been a limit (30 minutes, I think - or is it 10 mins? ). Many times I have looked back at hastily banged out stuff, only to be too slow to edit my WTAASs.

I don't think there's always been a limit. Didn't Zim keep editing the title of his Victoria bushfires thread to keep up with the updated body count?
Depressing example, I know.

I think we had this Q before and Dello confirmed there had always been a limit. Maybe you retain thread title editing rights if you are the topic starter.
And that sounds like the sort of classy thing the crazy Wozzie would do.

Nup, just check a couple of recent threads I started, and no option to edit.skully wrote: Maybe you retain thread title editing rights if you are the topic starter.

Totally correct. I can remember Dello and I being the only ones online (a Saturday morning?) and we discussed it. He was playing with the time settings as we were talking.

Yes, "Palestinians don't want peace" is a clear no-no and totally untrue. Everyone knows how moderate and peace-loving the Palestinians are.

Sarcasm accepted, AD. The Palestinian remark is likely to resonate far less with the US voting public than the "no point wasting time on the 47%" line.Allan D wrote:skully wrote:Strong groundswell in the US that Romney's "forget the 47% and the Palestinians" rant to his rich guests has doomed him to defeat in the Presidential Election.

Except with the 53% who are paying for them.

Phurt, nowhere near 100% vote in US Elections. Isn't it more like 65%?

There was no limit. Then there wasn't. Or was. Whatever.
Mod rights allow you to edit willy nilly. But no-one wanted them, so suck it up.

Makes a change for me to be playing with something else while internetting.

After seeing these ridiculous and coffin nailing comments made by Romney, I just had to see what AD had to say.
As expected, he is still blindly supporting him. Hilarious.

Wasn't referring to turnout - just to demographic split that Romney referred to - 47% pay no income tax and look to the state to provide benefits, the other 53%, by inference, supply those benefits. I suspect a similar split may apply in Australia too.

It is probably right in Australia given that a fair chuck of Australians are still learning to walk or are at school or kindergarten.
Not sure what the split would be for people who actually vote though.
