[merlin] Aye, takes me back to the times of timeless tests, when cricket was really cricket. None of this new fangled stuff.[merlin]

To let batsmen get their names on the honours board?
And yet Sachin isn't up there, which surely makes a mockery of the honours board.

If the pitch is as flat and dead as this later in the summer, I'm sure that anomaly will be rectified.

Or England's bowling as pie-tastic/TAYPOC/bage/whatever adjective you choose to describe it with...

Flat pitch? Sh*t weather? Sri Lanka in a dominant position?
F*ck Lords, F*ck the pitch, f*ck the fans, f*ck the country.
121 Tests?
Never again.

Finn's wicket of Dilshan was pretty memorable, I must say.
Surprised Broad didn't get a wicket yesterday, watched his spell on the teev. Probing and accurate. Gutting.

If you read the Cardiff Test thread you'd understand.
Come back to me when you've read Chiv's drivel.

Or alternatively, he hasn't been good enough to get up there.
Test cricket isn't a gimme and reputations count for nothing. If he wasn't good enough to score runs on the day then its quite right he isn't on the board. The sh!t bastard.
As it appens Chris Lewis (x2), Angus Fraser, Craig White, Matthew Hoggard, Jimmy Anderson and Monty Panesar have been too good for him. If he's good enough in 2011 he'll get up there.

Currently tipping it down over London but hopefully it will pass in time for the start of play, and of course Lord's has the best drainage in the World.
