Cook seems to be scoring centuries for fun these days. Someone shoot him before he starts to threaten our dearly beloved SRT's tally.
Red, re your avatar - one of your best efforts yet.

You just know we're going to have them 9 wickets down and 150 runs behind at the end.

If we get these two out before tea then I'd back us to bowl the rest out in the evening session.

Sri Lanka obviously not trying to win this. Everyone but Strauss seemingly knew they had enough runs by about 30 minutes after lunch.

There were bats resting on the window pane. Matt Prior threw a glove into a kit bag. The glove then ricocheted into bat resting on window pan, and this broke the glass. A female spectator suffered a small cut to her ankle, it was an accident and Matt Prior has apologised."
That's the official ECB explanation.
FFS. It's Ricky Ponting all over again. Just tell the truth you mugs. We're not stupid. Obviously Prior punched the window with his glove still on, or smashed it with his bat. An excuse like that just makes them look worse. Fools.

Feels like a draw. England's bowlers haven't been "on" all game. It'd be amazing if they suddenly clicked now.
Doesn't help that a fifth day pitch is playing like a day two featherbed, but that's Lord's for you.

Only chance we have is if Swanny grabs three or four quickly.

Or anyone. Three or four quickly would take out the entire batting line-up.

Following SL's last tour here atm, easy England win followed by a high scoring draw.
Wonder if we'll make the Rose Bowl like Colombo for them just like we did Trent Bridge!

Brilliant. I've been travelling a lot recently and love listening to TMS. Should probably turn off sky commentary and listen to it instead really...

And from the other end, time to go around the wicket to Mahela, put a short leg in, and let him have it for about 20 minutes.

This. Tremors is touching 79mph.
Almost like they've been beaten by the pitch.

Unfortunately this means you hear what happens on each delivery about 5 seconds before you see it... I suppose if you have the radio on something you can pause it might work, but would be easier if it was the other way round.vilkrang wrote:Brilliant. Wish I had chance to listen to more of TMS, although Sky cricket commentary is pretty good as well. Compare it to how ordinary some of their football efforts have been recently, it's as if they don't even screen test some of the people they use, just look down the list of out of work managers!

Nasser- "england without Broad are a bit meek."
Oh really? Didn't matter one f*cking bit in the ashes though, Nass!

As Aggers suggested, not-so-silly Billy (compared to Bowden that is) hasn't had a great game. Not sure if it was him who didn't refer the Bell run-out earlier?vilkrang wrote:Can't believe that was given out, was never spinning enough.
