Asked by NSW teammate Moises Henriques, who was born in Portugal, why he had his visa application successfully processed but Khawaja did not, the left-hander replied: ''It wasn't that I wasn't born here but where I was [born] brother.''
''Ooooh, that r word ay,'' Henriques said.
I would call 'it' an 'illiterate Aussie'. Or one talking with his mouth full.

It'd actually be religionist, wouldn't it? Can't be racism when they all look the same.

Re: Racist Indians
all people of pakistani origin are finding it tough to get an indian visa after the 2008 attacks in bombay. most dont get a visa on their first attempt since the background checking can take months. if even a distant relative sets off some red flags you pretty much dont have a chance

PAKISTAN-born Australian batsman Usman Khawaja has been granted a visa for India, meaning he can play in next month's Champions League Twenty20 tournament if selected in the NSW squad.
Khawaja's visa was processed today by the Indian Consulate in Sydney.
It came just 24 hours after Cricket Australia (CA) confirmed that Khawaja's visa had been held up by officials at the Indian High Commission.
Khawaja earlier vented his anger on social media site Twitter, saying India's visa department "need to sort their issues out".
"Refusing to let me travel to India as an Australian, because I wasn't born here. Wow," wrote the 24-year-old.
In an exchange with his Portuguese-born NSW teammate Moises Henriques, Khawaja said it "wasn't that I wasn't born here but where I was, brother".
However this morning, Khawaja - the first Muslim to wear the baggy green for Australia - was given the green light to travel to India.
"We are delighted that this has been settled and we thank the Indian Consul-General, Mr Amit Dasgupta, for his prompt attention in resolving the matter,'' Cricket NSW Chairman Dr Harry Harinath said on Wednesday.
Khawaja is also a member of the 15-man squad set to compete in three Tests against Sri Lanka from August 31 to September 20.
The promising young left-hander made his Test debut for Australia in the fifth match of the Ashes series in Sydney in January, signing with Derbyshire later that month for the English domestic season.
The NSW squad for the Champions League will be announced later this week.
