This bloke believes Indians CAN be racist. Who to believe?

Now, Indian forumers, please explain how this can be so.

There's been so much bile spat from some quarters about the poor way people of Indian heritage are treated in other countries, when there is no racism in India. I am confused. Still, I suppose the author of the linked article can consider himself lucky he didn;t attend school in some country where he would have the living shit beaten out of him.

What would a black poof know about racism and discrimination?

there are atleast 10,000 articles out there saying how Indians are racist and thus

1. Musn't ever dare to accuse Australia or any other country of racism.
2. Must suffer silently forever.
3. Dare not ever try match up to whitey. (or similar sentiments)

either these articles are sponsored by Australian govt as psy-ops against blighted india. Pity if they spent half their effort into improving/sensitizing their police forces, and society in general, they need not have resorted to such cheap tricks.

As I understand India has spend a long time of it's history in subjugation and a lot of Indians earned their bread by letting those in power hear what they wanted etc and thus to find an Indian or a subi who would abuse his own country isn't a hard deal. In fact it's no deal at all. They are dime a dozen.

What would infact be surprising would be to find an aussie who criticizes his own country, and finds fault with Australia and takes the side of India. Now that would be rare, we can count such people on our fingers. Latest being an Australian defence chief. But there are just a few such people.

Can not say the same about the Killed Indians by racist Aussies in Aus.

As much as I hate to climb on a podium and be a self-appointed judge of any society or race/people, it is a fact that many Indians esp the naive or FOB-types abroad or in Indian cities, to even large sections of middle-upper classes do tend to see the world in such manner that someone with white skin can do no wrong. And ofcourse if such a person speaks sweetly or appears even semi-courteous then he/she will slave all over him.

Yes, it is serious character flaw which may or may not be corrected over time.

But let us remember, this is not an Indian defect alone. Visit China, South East Asia, or even rural Europe or US. This is the same you will find there we well. It doesn't reduce our culpability in this regard though.

To be fair to Bucky he has this much right. It's been my experience that third worlders act very subserviant to the white man even in their own country.

not so for the 15 year old australian girl who was raped beaten and killed by an indian taxi driver and left in field.

so we could say the same for the Killed australians by racist Indians in India. so before you open your mouth and sprout crap think that these crimes are also being committed by your own countrymen

murders occur throughtout the world and not all are based on race. they are just oppotunistic crimes of hate and violence.

those found guilty were

1. caught
2. prosecuted
3. convicted
4. hanged (in cases 1 & 2)

unlike australia where the debate still rages on whether those crimes against Indians who were killed were racist or not ?
