I know, it's the most mental thing I've heard - especially reinforcing it with the whole '1966' comment - I mean come awn - this isn't 1990. Chris Waddle has no mullet, Ian Brown doesn't look fresh-faced.

This can be told be the lack of action in this thread - absolute apathy. Not a jot of anything dynamic. This thread is full of military medium, up-and-down dobbing, no-reverse-cowboy-just-a-two-pump-dump-missionary, if-this-was-a-game-show-it-would-be-Eggheads, lollipop, jinger-janger load of dross - 8 pages! (bar my lovely "you don't have to go to Cricinfo" build-up posts)
Who the garq are YOU now - Planet Parqin Pakistan?
Go fetch yourself a space rocket and sit on it, speed freeq.

It's not rained up here all day, in the place that hasn't had a test this summer....
Get rid of bidding and bring back rotation for all venues capable of hosting tests and put the chuffing Oval in the rota. London ain't that special.

Worked out lovely for England, though.
Got a good look at the pitch and India's "attack" in quite bowler friendly overhead conditions. Found it was all a piece of piss, nothing to fear but fear itself.
Back tomorrow under the sunshine to sex their stats up.

Only just seen the Captain Negative helmet splitting moment. Looked quite nasty in the initial viewing.

yeah they've found him out. His only weakness seems to be okish bowling.Brass Monkey wrote:Chef's out 4th ball. Someone bowled at him OK.

Aye, not a big deal I suppose. There's not much of it around!

Maybe he was on about Strauss. He just got him out. Strauss had dead-batted all morning. He reaps the 'rewards' of his negativity.

Yep. 2 runs in just over an hour. Just seen the shot - bordering on abominable. Tosser.
