ABs too good. Aus outclassed in every possible way.

Agree, we have to feed ours better.

Well, my pre-tourno prediction was spot-on. Aus to exit at the semi's.
AB's just overpowered us. Looked like we spent all our pennies in the SA game.

I expect all Aust supporters will rise above the boorish provincial attitude of the Kiwi supporters & support the Blacks against the detested French.

Bryce Lawrence to ref the Final and cane the Blecks by a 4 to 1 margin in the penalties? Le Bleu to win 21-20 (6 penalty goals and a dropped goal to 2 converted tries and two dropped goals). Cool

But seriously, if the Blecks don't put 30+ on the Frogs I will be very surprised. Only for some handling errors and a few passes that went astray, they were pretty damned awesome last night. Aus lucky not to be flogged by 30 themselves.

Mrs L wants the Kiwis to win because they've had such a rough year with the earthquake etc ... be a lift for the poor blighters.

Tabloids all racing to get the first Rainbow Warrior reference in, I guess.

Yeah, guess the country could do with a lift... while it's usually entertaining to watch them self-destruct I hope they don't do it against a French side who shouldn't have even got out of their group. Their only performance of note was to be slightly less bad than England and somehow they're in the final.

How many people would have picked Cruden and Parra as the starting 10's for the final when the tournament kicked off? Although both French scrum halves are carrying knocks so they may yet be forced to play Trinh-Duc which would probably improve their chances.

Robbie Deans is a good Coach. The Wallabies have definitely improved since he took over.

Suspect that might be the last we see of Quade Cooper in a Wallabies jersey. I reckon he'll accept a big offer from a league team now.

He's still young though. How old is he? 23? And he is consistently very good for the Reds. If he chooses to stay with Union and plays well in the Super 15 again he'll still be in the reckoning.

Clearly doesn't handle pressure well at this stage, though. The Hick/Ramprakash of Australian Rugby?

Does alot of charity work - but his test football is not up to scratch. Sometimes when I see him pass the ball I wonder if he's having flashbacks to his schoolboy days.

Hence the arrogance, bl. He's never had to do it hard, and when he did, he had no idea and couldn't adapt. Michael Lynagh he ain't.

To play well enough to break into the Wallabies side, convince everyone he's Australia's best fly-half, then crash and burn in the World Cup.

Would be pretty funny if he returns to NZ, gets picked for the All Blacks, and starts playing like a genius.

That ain't gonna happen, Trev. Dan Carter's turds are more talented than Cooper. And Aaron Cruden, 3rd pick at fly half for the Blecks, certainly didn't disgrace himself in the SF.

skully, Carter would have struggled in that environment. The backs who disappointed me most were A A-C & Barnes.
