I hate hat.
No more hat Wally. Not until it's below freezing anyway.

So Skulls - the Red Cross Parcel is ready to be sent. Have you had to endure yet another day when the temperatrure has dipped below 12c?

A bit milder today, thanks Bas. The Arctic blasts seem to have moved to NZ. I'm touched by your concern. True Bails spirit of comradery.

I hope you included some grey thermal long johns; new or 'hardly used', a shawl or 3 for the poor old bloke's knees, and a hot water bottle.
Where's that image of Sandy Stone when you need it?

August in South East Queensland usually means one thing - Wind.
But in sheltered places it is light shirt & shorts weather.

Meh, I'd happily be a Taswegian. I could easily retire down there if the sprogs moved on. I know I'd make a real estate killing!!!
If it's cold you can always put more on, but that heat just slays me. No wonder Banjos are fried in the brain.
I think all this Global Warming HAS made me a little soft. After a mild winter up here in the Norf, the cold hit hard last weekend. Actually woke up shivering in the middle of the night after the doona fell off.

Well Skulls, you'd have to get used to a bit of this during Winter:
