Embarrassing for Dale Steyn
“You can’t walk into a Subway (sandwich shop) without there being an Indian or Pakistani bloke who works there and they would say ‘Ah, Brett Lee!’ and I would say ‘You’re close but not quite right!’,” Steyn chuckled.

Re: Embarrassing for Dale Steyn
So is the hint here that he's being racist? Or that he's been mistaken for Brett Lee? either way, it's pretty bad.....

I think they both do similar uber-camp wicket celebrations. It's easy to get them mixed up if you squint - even down to the frotting team-mates.

That's twattish and stupid. It's not ice-dancer, screaming-girl camp. Therein lies the super-difference.

I'm guessing that it's the being mistaken for BLee. It's significant that the people recognising Steys as a cricket are of Asian origin (who obviously follow their teams from afar) rather than white Americans - most of whom have probably never even heard of cricket. I can't really see any aspect of racialism in itself Trev.

More the fact that Steyn is implying that Indian and Pakistani= Works in a fast food restaurant.

Re: Embarrassing for Dale Steyn
Oh good golly, Nidge, I'm not saying any team's exempt. Not at all. England are fast becoming dickusweedus. I'm just saying that Lee and Steyn can have triple-camp celebrations that could be mixed up by non-avid types, especially when on either of those occasions both lots of their team-mates come and roughly frot them.

As opposed to the other nationalities who work in selfsame shop and don't follow cricket. You really have to be a twat to read racism into that.

Re: Embarrassing for Dale Steyn
The difference is Steyn doesn't get as many chances to do it at 3/500* as Dung did
*obviously not a real score but an exaggeration of not many wickets and lots of runs which seemed to be the situation that Dung would bring out his more cringeworthy wicket celebrating efforts

Really? Which one?
Neil Finn
Paul Hester
Nick Seymour
They all appear to have 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose and a mouth, so I guess there is some resemblance.

He looks more like the second guy to me. With less Bobby Charlton hair. Paul Hester.
