ICC Ranking Predictor
Rank Predictor
Rather than having to go digging for it, with thanks to Z and A. If Aus draws the remaining two games we usurp the mighty Lankans' 4th spot by a point. (104 to 103).
Will be interesting to see what sort of pitches they serve up for T2 and T3 after their heinous Galle dust bowl backfired on them.

It's difficult to see what other sort of pitch might suit them at the mo.

Re: ICC Ranking Predictor
Indeed Pete. As many of us said prior to the series, it would be decided by how well our bowlers do against their pretty formidable looking batting line-up. First blood to the Aus quicks.
I'm guessing they won't have the hide or the balls to serve up another bunsen after the Galle debacle. But a flat deck will probably suit Aus because their quicks are a bit pop-gunnish and their spinners won't threaten. Maybe 2 draws on offer.
Having said that, our 2nd Test line up looks even more fragile with Drunky back in Aus waiting to catch the after-birth.

Drunky is a bit hard on the old double-headed drongo, after all these years. And considering he is not even responsible for miscaptaining the national side any more.

Once one gets a disparaging handle, it's hard to shake.
And his recent form has not warranted a more generous nick, AFAIC.

You might be waiting for a while before you get anything sensible out of Zatty. The noise of his own fingers hitting the keyboard may be too much for him today.

It is one of the few things the useless search function on FB is actually good for.skully wrote:Rank Predictor

Only if the topic starter gives the thread a logical title. I didn't check, but given you comment, I therefore assume you did in your thread. I used the A's link in the No. 1 Ranking thread, but I knew you had put the link up previously.

It's OK, we understand you were having a Red moment.
What you would have got using the search function for the word 'rankings'.

Either Z is hung over or just being his holier-than-thou self. I prefer to think hung-over.

Re: ICC Ranking Predictor
So the Yarps choke again. Apparently they would've overtaken the Bannies for the no. 2 spot if they won the series v Aus then beat SL.
Fresh air between SAf and Aus in 4th then more fresh air to SL in 5th.
