Hopefully-
Cook(c)
Bopara
Trott
Pietersen
Patel
Bairstow
Buttler+
Swann
Borthwick
Finn
Meaker
Three spinners, but why not. A third seamer would have got hammered anyway, Swanny is the first picked, and Fat Sam can only hold his spot in the side as a batsman. Borthwick should be given a chance. Bopara the third seamer. Toss up between Bairstow and Buttler to take the gloves.

Bopara must be dobbing 10 overs down. He's no more cannony than any of the seamers picked. I wouldn't drop Beddy and hence would keep the batting line-up. Samit is undroppable probably.
Re: India v England, 4th ODI, Mumbai, 23 October, 2011
Bell gotta be picked even if that means dropping Trott who did more harm than good to Eng in the last ODI.

He might be, but he is great against us.

Ian Ronald Bell averages 29.37 versus India in India. Ian Ronald Bell averages 23.71 in bilateral series in India. Ian Ronald Bell should not be considered for a place even if Jade Dernbach is to be picked as a batsman. [merlin]Next question.[/merlin]

Beddy's technique is still a bit suspect, imo. Any movement and he goes all Indian.

Batting or keeping? Both?

Mainly batting. But his keeping is good verging on average.

Borthwick in, Swann out. Meaker in Dernbach out.

Swann rested? We don't have any cricket for the next two months. Strange....

Not a stellar tournament for Swanny. There was the rumpus about his autobiography, and he evidently has little to time for Patel. Also he's not pulled up any trees with the ball - but then, none of our bowlers have.

Still, he's usually the first bowler picked. I can't believe he's been dropped.

Unless it was preordained that Borthwick would get a go and that Swann would make way for hi.

What do you lot care, really? What more is going to be learnt about Swann? Nothing. Give the youngsters a go, especially as it's two dead rubbers. A bigger excuse to give our #1 bowler a rest will not occur. It's so 'no biggedy' I'm past talking about it.
Should've given Onions a go instead of Bresnan. If Woakes was fit, he'd have definitely replaced him. But because Bresnan is known for his late order biffing, he gets the gig.
Still, I'd have dropped Cook and gone for Hales, so....

Oh, and anyone see Bowden's triple-twat-with-a-side-order-of-nutgobbling-wankery signalling of the boundary?
Re: India v England, 4th ODI, Mumbai, 23 October, 2011
The theory is that it was in celebration of NZ's World Cup win.

It could be because he had a night snorting charles out of Megan Fox's naval in between smashing her ragged, it is of no import... he still looked like a prize qunt.

Well, yeah, but this kicked it up about four notches.
Re: India v England, 4th ODI, Mumbai, 23 October, 2011
It's always a different shot a ball just for singles for England in the middle overs.

Here we go again- Lots of starts, but ultimately it will be 230 all out.
England to get to 235, India to chase it down by the 35th over for the loss of three wickets.
Same old same old.

Yeah. We seemed to be bogged down. The pitch is quite slow, but you feel that India's batsmen will just hit through the line of the ball. KP was unlucky though - he middled it, but that was a top catch.
