I think you'll find it was the Indian bowlers who were dishing out the rubbish, rather than the English fielders.

And can you tell me about any over the top sledging at all during India's tour of England? From either side? Seemed to me, the only sledging came from those two 'chippies' Gavaskar and Shastri, who all but burst into tears when sections of the English media dared to criticise India's pathetic performances, then started ranting about England not being the Colonial power anymore etc...Truly crazy stuff from two men with a worryingly high profile in world cricket.

And I commented on England's comprehensive thrashing of India in England, and also India's comprehensive thrashing of England in the jamodi series in India. You admitted yourself that you were too ashamed/scared of what English forummers were saying during the English Summer to come on here and comment, so for you to say i'm "fair-weather" is both wrong, and hypocritical in the extreme, all at the same time. No one has gone into hiding due to an ODI series. If anything it's more embarassing that you think it's a meaningful achievement, or that it makes up in any way for being whitewashed in a test match series.

If I'd bragged about England winning the ODI series after being whitewashed in the ashes then I'd still be too ashamed to show my face around here.

Or is this just NSR from me? I certainly hope it is for your sake, but I'm not convinced.
