I think he's starting to lose it. Too many Pimms'.

Why doesn't someone point out to him the FACT that Strauss and Prior moved to England with their families as toddlers?

"Conflict of interest is an issue. Ashley Giles is both a director of cricket at Warwickshire and a national selector. That cannot be right."

He got that part spot on though.

Well that one's obvious enough. Giles is a cancer that is affecting English cricket. What the hell does anyone see in him? It's such a shame that he'll no doubt lap up all of the plaudits for putting forward Warwickshire boy Trott.

The great thing about being a one-time Empire is that lots of capable people come here from the ex-colonies to live and work, and some of them are cricketers.

Don't tell that to Spanky, who seems to put everything down to a decline in British culture. Did you see how he even tried to suggest that Yorkshire and Durham aren't really part of England?

British culture sharply improved when that jealous, chippy never-was Spanky emigrated.

I posted about this earlier today. I see they've deleted the last comment about 'he must be missing Varsity-arsed boys' - can't believe that one slipped through Very Happy

Yorkshire & Durham are Celtic? WTF is Celtic anyway, its made up sh!t that panders to the likes of spanky. Yorkshire has a huge Scandinavian influence & Northumbria was the biggest Saxon kingdom stretching up way into the southern half of Scotland.

My 'private tuition' comment is still up there though.

Lets get a few more comments on there - the 'sack Cap't Spanky' campaign starts here.....

What scared me was that I was actually getting caught up in his bizarre world view for a bit- fortuately I realised I'm reading the rantings of a sexually deviant lunatic just in time.

I feel like I've had a brush with joining a cult.

Don't know about Durham but he might have a point with Yorkshire. It got a good part of it's northern part lopped off to fit in with the Act of Settlement and another one in the early 19th century.
