Meanwhile, Sri Lanka have batted like sh*t again, and with Sanjay's permission, the Paksters should cruise to a victory.

Not much of a contest, SL have a lot of talented batsmen so a score of 131 on a flat pitch was quite dismal.

S/L's future looking dismal with their near total reliance on 2-3 declining batsmen, no decent bowlers coming through to replace their licensed pinger, and a glut of ODI-weaned goldfish batsmen around the periphery of the team, all unable to resist the tonking instinct ie build an innings in Test cricket. It sounds horribly familiar locally, too.

So what happened? Nevermind, I don't really care.

SL were over-inspired by Capetown, but gamely managed to stretch out getting skittled to 40 overs.

Pak got there in half those overs, for only 2 down.

"You Sri Lankans, I. Farhat in your general direction" was the gist of it.
