Kiwi whingeing about the RWC
McCaw in pot calling kettle black shock
And we thought they'd stop whining now that they have the cup at last. Wonder if his famous after-match words about being shagged has anything to do with what the Frogs did in the scrum?

What's the problem? The Froggos went down the girly route and he said something about it.

No, c'mon Mynah!!! I mean that eye-gouging is pretty girly... or isn't it, in the 21st Century? Has society become so incredibly 'metro' that eye-gouging or nard-abuse have become fair game? Pinching and scratching? sh!t, I know I've been ignorant but I didn't think the world would go to ruin in a heartbeat!!!
Re: Kiwi whingeing about the RWC
Yes, we girls used to try and poke out each others' eyes all the time on the playgrounds...
Seriously though, I actually thought that you meant it the way I described it, seeing that the ABs got away with more dirty play than the frogs did. I agree that Rougerie's eye-gouging was pretty mean, but I'd never think of refering to the act as "girly" (much like I find someone's deliberate flying of a plane into a building being described as "an act of cowardice" somewhat inapt).

Re: Kiwi whingeing about the RWC
I've been brought up with the opinion that going for what can be traditionally called 'the weak points' (bollocks, eyes, mouth) is called 'being girly' (pardon the sexism). Hence fish-hooking, eye-gouging and melvining isn't on the menu of a 'gent'. It's just not cricket.

Wouldn't flying a plane into a building be more inept?

Re: Kiwi whingeing about the RWC
Quote from an Irish website:
Rougerie was let off the hook during the Rugby World Cup Final as
evidence that he was up to no good only came to light outside of the
required 36-hour period during which a citing must be made.
In light of the Rougerie incident, the IRB will subsequently look at
extending that window, but we can’t imagine Richie would be best
pleased.
After all, if the authorities decide to flick back through the
archives and retrospectively punish McCaw for some of the unsavoury
incidents he’s been involved in down through the years, he wouldn’t have
much of a career left.
