Well I got exactly what I wanted:
To be left alone and given nothing.
Woohoo! Best Christmas ever

I got everything I wanted - good food, good company, good beer/wine/whisky - and there's more than five hours left!

Re: Xmas pressies
My Brother gave me a genuine fake set of Dr Dre Beats that he picked up in Hanoi & for a knockoff they are not too bad.

Nice.
I got socks. I'd model them for you all, but they're socks. You can probably imagine how they'd look. Like socks.

Re: Xmas pressies
Let's see, I got some shirts from my parents, some Roy Orbison style sunglasses from my boyfriend, and a voucher for Palace Cinemas from my sister - this was particularly freaky because I unwittingly bought my sister the exact same present! You'd swear we were related or something.
And to keep all this cricket related, my "Secret Santa" gave me "The Greatest" by Malcolm Knox, which focuses on the Warne/McGrath era of Australian cricket. It looks like a decent read from what I've flicked through so far.

No need to be afraid of technology. You just have to learn to make it your 'Bitch'.
Re: Xmas pressies
I'll remember that, BD. I was lucky though, cos it actually came with a manual, not just a disk, AND a few diagrams. Didn't even have to put my glasses on.
