there is a remarkably stoopid beer ad on the telly at the mo...of course it is for a variant of the QBillies vile (and illiterate) beer - "xxxx"....the variant is called "xxxx summer"..

the narrative involves a group of numpties (oddly enough it looks like a bondi location) hanging empty bottles on a hills hoist (washing line for non Oz) on top of a block of flats...a gathering of people (with suspiciously close-set eyes) then appears at the washing line...all under a blazing sun....the empties then 'mysteriously' fill with what looks like the familiar vile xxxx brew....the numpties then take the presumably hot brew off the washing line and knock it back..

...presumably a good time is had by all and sundry

yeah ... he does not look happy...forgot bollybogan...he's in one too....the sponsors must be getting cross that the ad talent are not getting selected in the rep teams...suspect there was always a deal between hildy, CA and the sponsors re team selection

I've seen the ad once, h, so not sure. I agree with you. It struck me as a remarkably banal ad.

Still, all is not lost, global warming is apparently gonna rid us of some excess Banjos.
