Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Marsh getting a golden quack; hard to imagine him plumbing lower depths.
Quiney must eventually come to the selectors' notice.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
a great round...all set up for a thrilling last round...wonder if Wilbur Weather will have another say?
the retro worriers put on a choke that the billies or the saffies could be proud of...wonder if bog will get dropped from the retros..as someone posted ...hella funny that sheethead went through the worriers
maxie klinger put on another masterclass for the jellies...pretty poor effort from the toxics..
the dubbers did everyone a favour by rolling the billies for 1st innings points...the chips look like they have reverted to their historic role of spring champs - summer chumps..
the best domestic cricket comp in the world is going down to the wire

Basil is droll. CC continues to provide havens for Oz players not up to selection in their State teams.
the last round is a cracker with 4 teams fighting for 2 places in the final...
I predict
Toxics to defeat the worriers
Chips to draw with the Jellies with the latter to get points for a 1st innings lead
Spivs to beat Vix in a low scoring game (haddit to take a catch and make a match turning 17)
Final between the toxics and worriers

odd team selections...no Haddit in the spiv team...has he been injured or dropped or rested?
even more oddly...the vix have made Ryan Carters 12th man...meaning the vix are playing without a wicketkeeper

wow...bog is 14* - totally justifying the retro selectors' deceision to play him despite his abject form...
retros 2/50 and coasting, jellies 1fer and fighting back, while spivs - fuse and madman- are putting the vix to the sword

retros staggering at 6/107 - toxics firming for the final...but as the jellies dissolve at the gabba, it is looking like a chip v toxic final

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Some quality cricketers running around in the SS this week. Must be a dozen a so recent test players.
I wonder if Queensland not forcing the tie earlier in the year against the Vomits (they had a 9 wicket down scores level draw) might actually get them into the final ahead of Vixen after all.

vix do not deserve to be in the final jgk...we have had our chances but not taken them...agree with your comment about some qual players in the SS...and there are many who would be playing other than for injury
WA - ollie
Vix - hastings
Chips - cutting
spivs - reeks, fleas, cummins, bogan as well as Haddit
