Touring around, getting lost, sampling local brews, watching the Open Golf, sitting in the crowd for Amla's 300....

Christmas evening 2006...we consumed a Heineken keg, Zat's hotel beer fridge and then went down stairs to the bar for port. Still can't believe I made it back to my hotel down near Southern Cross Station...

Next day watched Warnie take his 700th with one of the worst hangovers of my life...

Also spent money by the wheelbarrowful, and got wet a lot in the English 'summer', but it was still a great trip.

I might be alright anyway. In celebrity terms it's either the Amy Winehouse route or the Russell Brand one.

I've never liked Russell Brand though to be honest.

I've always thought he was a bit of an "oooh my winkle" type qunt, but I did enjoy his documentary on addiction.
