Reading through the article, which I was too lazy to do yesterday before reacting to the news headline, and in particular noting the allusion to 'a lot of fluid' drained from the chest cavity, I wonder if Tony has a mesothelioma rather than a primary lung cancer. It's hard to believe he was a smoker ... although I suppose there may have been a few cigars with Packer.

Greig was a prick both on & off the microphone but you would'nt wish this on anyone. Hope he beats it.

One thing it brings home in spades is how fast time flies. Crikey, I was a shy country boy just down in the big smoke to start Uni studies and my first real job when Greigy first started commentating for Nein, and it only seems like yesterday. Plenty on here weren't even born or thought of by their folks when he first picked up the mike for the Goanna.
