Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
Looks like Robbo's turn to feel the heat.
http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/john-robertsons-leadership-of-nsw-opposition-shaky-mps-20141222-12ccv7.html
Would have thought the LNP would prefer him to stay as leader though. His replacement might actually be worth voting for.

Fixed
Seems to be for a letter he signed 3 years ago when he signed a letter for Monis who was a constituent in his electorate.

Can Do will lose his seat (tho the brownies will bolt in the election) and then either go to Canberra to stiffen up the right or go on to a gazillion boards

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
years away
but the local members all have ads up ( bus stops , bins , billboards etc) reminding us who they are
the funny thing before the last state election was that the pinkos had no party identification

He's 3s to win his seat.
Sounds like a no lose bet.

Didn't help the Dubber Pinks. They tried the same sham, playing the "trust your local member (with no Labor emblem)" card and got absolutely murdered. I don't think having the exciting Luke Foley now at the helm will change their fortunes much.

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
Well his seat is full former public servants he sacked. So threes is way under. The election itself is anybody's. The ALP has probably got the twenty seats it normally holds in the bag and then there's twenty that fall given a uniform swing.

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
Qld it seems has trouble with free speech. A bloke wearing a "I'm with stupid t-shirt" has been arrested after being photographed with a bevy of tory campaigners....Loved how 3 cop cars turned up to arrest the bloke who has been charged under Public Nuisance laws.
