Ya f*ckatrds.
Parden?
It translates roughly as:
Hey Stars on TV? I am totally ashamed to have been born in India, the Indian team is .... as empty as a hand drum.
What words shall describe you, Indian team? मूर्ख [moorkh], सिडी [sidi], जन्म का पागल [janam ka paagal], उल्लू [ulloo] ...

And wasn't Jason Brown the best spinner in England around 2000-2001? They knew how to spin, alright.
Michael Davies looked the best of the lot. But yipped it. Nothing coming through now though. Tracks don't spin anymore. I loathe the suggestion that the likes of Panesar and Swann have learnt how to bowl on tracks less condusive to spin, Hove and Trent, it's bollocks. They learnt how to bowl on spinning tracks.

Fear not. I see that you've signed Matt Spriegel for next season. Tom must be devastated.

Inconsistent? His last 7.5 Tests have yielded 820 runs @ 68.
Only a warped and bitter individual would call that inconsistent.
And yet you try and say that Warner is somehow better or at least as good, despite being far more inconsistent than KP? The exact same arguments apply to him....moreso FFS! And how many tests has Warner played overseas? And what did he average in those tests?
No, more the point that great batsmen should be judged on their overall records not just brilliant cameos which is why Cook would have to be rated better than KP. Warner fails a lot but on song can destroy an attack like most cannot.
SO based on your theory, there's hardly anything between Graeme Smith and Viv Richards as batsmen? Quite similar overall career records.....
Speaking of Viv Richards, what did you think of him? Wasn't always the most consistent of fellows like, say, Geoff Boycott. Who was better in your opinion?
And anyway, KP averages 49, just like Cook. KP has 22 hundreds, just like Cook. The only difference is that KP has a career strike rate of around 60, whereas Cook's is around 45. And wasn't Cook wildly inconsistent from 2006 until 2010? Seem to remember him averaging around 43 during those years and having all sorts of problems outside off stump, whilst KP has been around 50 pretty much his whole career. So who's inconsistent?
I wouldn't bother. Red is completely 'touched' when it comes to cricketing opinions. Just an abundance of whiny, contradictory posts. Red says about consistency, but she's in love with David Warner (three tons in amongst an absolute abundance of failures) - she picks apart one man's record, yet leaves the others alone - just to suit her prejudice. In fact, I've given Red more time than is deserved. I'm doneski.

Some boring stats: so far England spinners have taken 16 of the 17 Indian wickets to fall - the highest number since Lord's in August 1974 when Derek Underwood (13) and Tony Greig (bowling off-breaks) (4) took 17 of the 19 Pakistani wickets to fall. The record for England in India was made at Kanpur in January 1952 when 19 of the 20 Indian wickets to fall went to spinners with Malcolm Hilton picking up 9, Roy Tattersall 8 and Jack Robertson, bowling off-breaks, 2.
That match is unusual if not unique in that all 31 wickets that fell to a bowler (there was 1 run out) in the match fell to spinners. Of course at Old Trafford in July 1956 all 20 of the Australian wickets to fall fell to spinners - 19 to Jim Laker and 1 to Tony Lock.

Today's wasn't even trying hard. Warner's innings in that India series comparable to Pietersen's or Cook's or even Che Pujara's in these tests?

Re: India v England, 2nd Test, Mumbai, 23-27 November, 2012
The question of selecting Bhajji ahead of Sharma in absence of Yadav will always be a haunting what if. The wisdom of choosing this twat in the squad instead of a legspinner on some silly T20 miracle despite signs that he was finished as a test bowler will always be a mystery.
Congratulations England. Well done. 31 run lead with 3 tailend wickets left [the worst batting wickets we have at that]. You guys won't be chasing more than 50 tomorrow 20 mins intro start and will be done by lunch. Congrats in advance. Now India will realize what they have lost with V.V.S Laxman.
SRT should not be selected in the squad for next 2 tests. Even Raina wouldn't have done as badly as he has in his selfishness. This so called legend is doing gross injustice to guys like Rahane and Tewari.

Or even Dinda if they don't trust Ishant Sharma right now.
And a nice time to say, Saha's on fire in domestic cricket.

Correction to the above - England spinners have of course currently taken 15 of the 16 Indian wickets to fall, Jimmy Anderson's dismissal of Ghautam Ghambir in the 1st innings being the sole exception. This equals the 3rd Test between Pakistan and England in Karach in March 1973 when England spinners took 15 of the 16 Pakistani wickets to fall - Pat Pocock 2 (presumably injured in the 2nd innings), Norman Gifford 7 and Jack Birkenshaw 6 with one remaining run out:
3rd Test, Pakistan v. England, National Stadium, Karachi, 24-29 March 1973

Even Yuvi would be better than Bhajji, I reckon. Although statistically he ended up alrightish. Just wary of ever picking three spinners, classic India aside. Not quite the balance there. Still, I've no faith in Ishant.
