Part time consultant. Can pick and choose.
Probably put in over the Xmas new year period thanks to the Wenlock R declaration and the Gove shutdown/walkout/destruction.
Anyone want to start on "what we're gonna eat for Xmas" or is there a thread floating around already?

Re: So when is everyone chucking work for the year
Got our busiest day of the year tomorrow. I'll be clocking on at 6.30 am & will be lucky to get away by 8.00pm thanks to our manager who has his head jammed so far up his own jacksy he can't see that we have a serious resource problem.
Re: So when is everyone chucking work for the year
Yeah, same BD - didn't get done til about half 9 last night. Still, that hefty Christmas bonus of chocolate snowman has really incentivised such responsibilities.
Re: So when is everyone chucking work for the year
Chances are we will call it today. More chocs Dan? That makes it 3 years running.

More chicks? TBF, I didn't expect much - record profits for the 3rd year in a row, you see. Hand over fist. For which the poorly paid staff are solely responsible, especially as they go the extra mile for no extra pay. You want Scrooge - he's down the hall from me.
Re: So when is everyone chucking work for the year
First rule is to use the quote
Does anyone get a Xmas bonus anymore? But agree you should be incentivised. It is crazy not to in this day and age.

No, it's not crazy, but put it this way: some people will be getting a bonus at my work this Christmas.
Shame I haven't been getting chicks as a bonus - there're a few I'd like to have plucked off the shelf.

Well spank me with a spiked luminous green spatula - I got 50 bones. Yes, that's right, 50 bones.
Better than a smack in the gob with a wet fish.
I'm going to retire to Los Bahamas...

Re: So when is everyone chucking work for the year
Huzzah, I am now on 6 weeks (yeah, you heard it - SIX!!!) leave. Couple of weeks up the coast, and then a few projects to be completed around the house. Still, it beats dragging my sorry arse out of bed at 4.45 am each work day.
