They obviously paid the big money for Maxwell because he provides plenty of entertainment. Mainly getting smashed all over the park.

That is just silly.
How about Glenn Maxwell - Maxwell House - Coffee - Coffee Bean - Mr Bean - Rowan Atkinson - Blackadder - Hugh Laurie - A Bit of Fry And Laurie - Stephen Fry - C.B Fry - Fry and Ranji - Ranji.
Much better.

Works for me.
Actually that was max Moore-Wilton who is a Maxwell.
Max The Axe=Tax then, because he will be paying a lot of it, and the smirking qunt appears to be taxing on the nerves as well.

I think we'll stick with Yoody/Yudy which comes from:
Maxwell=Maxwell's Silver Hammer (Beatles song)=Bang Bang=Bang Bang Yudhoyono (Prez of Indonesia)=Yoody or Yudy.

Timing's everything ain't it. Maxwell does an auction audition on Friday & Bailey scores significant runs a week too late.
As for Smith ................. there are 50 blokes across the country outside the state squads with his ability.

witlesson returns...and after one first class match, agar agar goes on the bannie tour as a net bowler
from abc online
Shane Watson has returned to Australia's one-day squad for the third and fourth matches of the series with West Indies.
Watson has recovered from a calf injury and takes the place of Usman Khawaja in the 13-man squad for the fixtures at Manuka Oval on Wednesday and the SCG on Friday.
Meanwhile, national selectors have announced the 17-man tour squad to India will travel to the sub-continent in three separate groups.
Eight players - Jackson Bird, Ed Cowan, Moises Henriques, Khawaja, Nathan Lyon, James Pattinson, Peter Siddle and Steve Smith - will travel to India on February 7.
David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Matthew Wade will depart two days later, while the remaining six players, including captain Michael Clarke, will travel on February 11 following the conclusion of the series with West Indies.
Western Australia spinner Ashton Agar will also make the trip to India to take part in the opening warm-up fixture, but he will return in the week before the first Test in Chennai, starting February 22.
Agar is not an official playing member of the Australian tour party, but the 19-year-old is heading to India to help with the preparations to face the hosts on spinning wickets.
