FFS, they've lost 3-1. What are they thinking sending rookie wicketkeeper Ben Foakes in at number 4 for a 50 over match?

James 'Michael Vaughan'Vince goes for his customary pretty, substance-less 40. England Lions have lost 4-4. Oh dear....

Tonic is having fun with the poor Pomlet bowlers....Vix 1/134 after 20 overs chasing 226...tonic into the 80s
it was a pretty ordinairy B attack the Pomlets faced

Once again, the ridiculous 12 play, 11 bat, 11 bowl match means that this game doesn't have List A status.

Eesh. As bowling attacks go, that's pretty slim pickings. The only potential England player in there is Ben Stokes - for his batting.

Re: England Lions tour of Australia
The most interesting thing in that scorecard is the 2-30 odd by Fawad Ahmad, the Afghani leggie refugee. It will be interesting to see if he comes on. He hasn't been Trevved yet, so there's hope.

In any case, the England Lions never stood a chance against a bunch of steroid-addled chemical heroes.

He might not have been Trevved, but that one's down in the book as a Larding.
He could already be on the slippery slope.
Re: England Lions tour of Australia
Rubbish ... I've even got 'lard' into the PMs name and it hasn't killed her off yet. I am totally ineffectual in the Trevving department. My unbridled hatred couldn't even turn Bruce Francis into a superstar.

Vaughan would throw an open-topped bus parade if he got to 40 in a one-day match, such a lemon was he at the limited overs jamboree
James Mince is still plop.

TBF I think she was more worried about the prospect of Trev doing him over.

Topley's not that bad, is he? What's happened to Tymal Mills? Too fast? Too promising? The 'Meaker' fate?

Here Trev, remember when you said Simon Kerrigan should be the second spinner, in place of Monty Panesar? Good times.
Reece Topley is a left-armed Chris Woakes.

Rubbish. We had this conversation a couple of weeks ago. It was Danny Briggs, not Kerrigan.
We really like our dobbers these days, don't we. Woakes, Harris.....
Topley was bowling mid to high 80s in the under 19 world cup. Has he regressed?
