The Aussie side is going to be similarly taypoc.
It's a long way from the galaxy of stars on display in the 00s in this fixture.

Harbi is being picked on reputation/past deeds rather than current form, right?

Apparently the ROI v Mumbai match was the best Harbhajan has bowled for several years.

Not India A.
Re: Indian squad for Australia
Someone pointed out tat India drop their opener who hasn't scored a ton in 3 years whereas Australia look like rearranging their whole batting order to accommodate theirs.

Watson's ODI and T20 form keeps them moist when it comes to tests. Of late, Aus have failed to grasp that form in ODIs and T20s is completely different to form in tests.
If Michael Bevan had been born 15 years later he would have had a 100 test career averaging 33.

I assume Gambhir is out there urging the countless millions of gambhir fans to not burn effigies of the bannies nsp...
I have a bad feeling about this forthcoming series...if oz unexpectedly do well early in the series there is a real risk of massive bannie over reaction...suspect the tour will be curtailed and that relations between the bannies and oz will deteriorate

Aus will need a batsman other than Clarke to step up and have a huge series. If Clarke makes most of the runs himself, Aus will still only have around 300 on the board. No one immediately springs to mind. Perhaps the new, 'liberated' Twatto?

Flat tracks, spinners who can't spin it, fast outfields (negating the need to run energy sapping singles) - it's Twatson country.
