I assume he's available, having played in the other formats... Guptill is ruled out which is probably a bonus for them. If they can find another Snoozonian who has ever opened the batting that is!

They're talking about Two Meter Peter opening.
A recall at 34 - that's some progressive thinking...

Anyway, might as well drag Mark Richardson out of the commentary box, and hand out complementary Red Bull and Pro Plus to the crowd...

Even in his prime Fulton was pretty ordinary. I actually rate Jamie How, but he seems to be out of the picture.

Oh no... don't pitch Mitch Mac. No no no. No don't pick him. There's already too many left-armed Mitchells in cricket. Wait til one of them retires.
Re: New Zealand v England, 1st Test, Dunedin, 6-10 March, 2013
Mitch Mac's cabbaged his side. Doubt he'll be seen again until the series is over.

Oh. Yeah, of course. Forgot he was a Kiwi. They're only on the park for a month at best.
Re: New Zealand v England, 1st Test, Dunedin, 6-10 March, 2013
Anyway, the best thing that's happened to NZ is Mordun Gaptull getting injured.
Re: New Zealand v England, 1st Test, Dunedin, 6-10 March, 2013
Except, he looked like he was coming into a bit of form. For him.
Jesse Ryder's still unavailable because his head's not in the right place. It's in the pub.

Re: New Zealand v England, 1st Test, Dunedin, 6-10 March, 2013
Jesse Ryder could turn up drunk and stinking of bar-whores and he'd still be better than most of NZ's muppet collection.
Re: New Zealand v England, 1st Test, Dunedin, 6-10 March, 2013
We should win this series 3-0 really. Southee's the only bowler worth the time of day.

Bracewell is a decent enough bowler. Boult, on his day.

He could still have his thing out, with flies buzzing round it, and make more runs without a bat than most of them with.

Some Kiwi reckons not.
Some Kiwi reckons they're keeping a spot open for him in the first Test.
Some Anglo can't wait for Test cricket involving Anglos.

Some Kiwi = Waddle, or Vettori?
Some Anglo = Dan?

Some Kiwi = some link on the Cricinfo blog section.
Some Anglo = f*ck yes, me. I'm having to watch Strinos and Indians at the minute, or the gangbang in SA.... it's all good, but it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. I want to feel clean.

I'm hungover and very technically shit batsman. I'd probably improve Pakistan.

Decent enough, yes. Both of them would be the second best NZ bowlers if they played for Notts though. That's how I'm looking at it.

You don't sound like you'd be up for the GB (*) though.
