Well the Bangers have made it to 6/300 at stumps with Nasir Hossain still at the crease. This should be a closer test match than the first one.

If they can knock up another 80 or so, they might already have evaded defeat.

At 3-45 the Bangers must've hoped for a quick kill but it looks like Elton Chumbawumba has had other ideas. At least Taylor didn't get another ton.

Shocker of the day

Umpire Tony Hill has made three incorrect caught-behind decisions in the match so far. Two of them, to give out Shingi Masakadza and Tamim Iqbal, occurred on the third day but it was not his blunder that can be called the worst of the lot. Ian Gould, who judged Mohammad Ashraful out lbw has that label. Kyle Jarvis bowled a low full toss that was swinging down the leg side and struck Ashraful on the front pad. It was clearly missing leg but Jarvis' appeal was enough to convince Gould that a disbelieving Ashraful had to go.

Elton Rasmussen - Outstanding forward for Australia in Rugby League tests during the 1960s. Sadly died in his early forties. Never thought I would be mentioning his name in the Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh test thread.

Bangers 272 in front with 5 in hand. Another 50 will make it interesting.

Think 272 would be interesting anyway - Zimbabwe are hardly the most solid batting line-up.
