One simple measure:

I've just gone looking for old threads of interest, as I do sometimes ... and noted that a bissection of the forum takes us back to 2009. Half of this forum's output occurred 2007-2009; and half has occurred 2009-2013. That's a strong signal. We're half the men we used to be. Either that, or all the women have gone.

You say that like you had any doubt. I have been doing my very best to artificially prop the joint up for that 2nd half of our existence for fear we'd disappear up our own arsehole. I've had too many chuckles, chortles, meltdowns, roaring trivia threads, political arguments, and general grouse banter about cricket and other stuff to allow that to happen.
