Clearly Skully is to be blamed for the Kiwis being so blamable.PeterCS wrote:tricycle wrote:Why blame circumstances when we can blame the Kiwis?Brass Monkey wrote:Wasn't that because of the whole sightscreen bullsheet?
Vettori gets Mahela.
Why blame anyone or anything else, when Skully (generally) and Trev (like an addicted roulette loser heavily backing SL) are around?
Henry could be an anti-fixer.
Says I despite getting barely anything right.

Generally, I like the Lankans' cheerful optimistic attitude. But given that, and the evident tautness and tightness of the match, their constant appealing does sometimes approach Broad/Harbhajan levels of quntishness. It's irritating gamesmanship when it's so repetitive.

Vettori unlucky to be given out on a big edge.
Hard to avoid the conclusion the ump was appeal-bombarded into giving it.

England are going to be all at sea again against Malinga and Herath, aren't they? Or 3/4 of them.
You can see it coming a mile off. Some batsmen never learn.

Brendan gone. Almost yorked himself. 7 down with 24 still needed.
Re: New Zealand v Sri Lanka, 4th ICCCT Match, Cardiff, 9 June, 2013
The appeal hysteria might yet backfire. Two good appeals have been denied since Vettori was sawn off with Lankans screeching and yodelling all over the place 4/5 times an over.

Southee's ended up getting pissed off with the appealing campaign.
Could work either way.

NZ might need to get he runs this over.
Malinga could polish them off in 2 balls otherwise.

34.5 Eranga to Southee,
OUT,
another yorker! the batsman digs it out towards mid-on and sets off for
a single, the fielder at mid-on - Thisara - aims at the non-striker's
end, but misses. However, his throw goes on to hit the stumps at
striker's end and guess what, Mills is short!
KD Mills run out 3 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 30.00
That is unlucky.
