South African Politics thread
This will be flat out getting past one page, but what the hell.
During Mandela's current spell of illness, news coverage here in Aus has shown a number of scenes inside SAf's Parliament (MPs calling for prayers for Madiba etc).
Er, simple question, and FFS please don't anyone take this as a sly attempt at racism, but are there ANY whitey MPs in the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa?
They weren't obvious to me in any of the coverage I've seen.

So 1 out of 90?
What's the white v black population split of SAf?
Googling now.

Re: South African Politics thread
From Wiki (2011 census):
Black ----- 41.0 M = 79.2%
Coloured -- 4.6 M = 8.9%
White ------ 4.6 M = 8.9%
Asian ------ 1.3 M = 2.5%
Other ------ 0.3 M = 0.5%
I was merely wondering if the population is proportionally represented. Anecdotally it seems that the 52 M South Africans seem to be largely governed by one racial group.

Re: South African Politics thread
Well I assumed that most people would be able to judge from the name and political party what race a particular member is.

Re: South African Politics thread
Farking I-gen has to be spoonfed everything.
The question was whether there are any white MP's in the SA Parliament.
It would be clear to most that a name such as Beverley Lynette Abrahams is most probably white.

Re: South African Politics thread
Is it that hard to type a single number? You're the i-Gen guru, shirley you can wave your cock over your i-Tampon and spit out the magic number, with your significantly greater understanding of the SAf parliament than mine. The black cloud that perennially hovers over your head makes you simply incapable of having a sarcasm-free and spite-free conversation with.
Nevermind, I tried.

Too much red again?
Okay the simple answer to your simple question is "yes"
I thought it might be more interesting to provide a list that clearly shows the breakdown, but that was clearly too much work for you in your inebriated condition.

Oh dear. taips reverts to type. Doesn't answer a simple question, then resorts to abuse. Class act. See ya, dufus, I ain't playing. Did my best, but you simply aren't interested, you miserable, depressed, hateful little grub of pool spare parts salesman. Enjoy your gloomy life.

Might well be, Dan.
Interesting that Zim is mentioned there. Even more interesting is the fact that Zat is not.
