It might be just that he's facing better bowlers in a desperate 4th innings situation, but although Pup's batting better than he has been lately he's still not looking much like the bloke from the last two home summers who couldn't get himself out if he tried.

Looks at ease v pace. The advantage he has is that the ball is spinning a mile out of the rough and he's unlikely to get near them. The danger is the straight one that he plays outside.
