How do I CHANGE my PACE?

Help please.... I am very FAST between the sheets, especially when faced with world-class opposition, but I do not have enough PACE with ball in hand at the crease. Any suggestions how I can increase my PACE while increasing my horizontal stamina?

I looked on google but I couldn't find it. There were some VERY interesting videos of Shoaib though. He was fast through the air but slow (and occasionally sore) off the pitch.

I think you need to work on your technique. Hitting the pad plumb in front doesn't really work if you want a long innings

But I am worried if I shorten my run up I won't have the same penetration.

So what you're saying is he's hopeless with the bat in hand and when it's his turn to bowl he's all tight and economical but lacking the penetration needed?
