New ball certainly talks on this wicket.

Harris is a beast!
Although if he's getting this movement with the ball then what England will do with it in their first 20 overs of pie-chucking...

You get the breakthrough then you let them get boundaries. Does Clarke and the bowlers not realise that's more runs they have to chase down? FFS.

20 runs that wicket cost us. Expensive.
Meanwhile, I can't watch. Turn on tv - boundaries. Turn it off - wicket

Target is borderline-out-of-reach. Another 20 or 30 from Brezzy-Chinn-Jimmeh will completely fark us.

With this pitch, the application of our tail enders at the top is going to be tested.OP Tipping wrote:Got to let them have a go at it to get them outbaggygreen wrote:You get the breakthrough then you let them get boundaries. Bird bowling himself out of the side.
Desperately missing Pattinson I think.

We may fall in a heap for a big loss, but if we get close, the final 5 wickets in our 1st innings and England's 2nd innings will be the difference. We capitulated lamely, while England's tail has wagged brilliantly.

Neither zip in the pitch nor enough swing for Sid.
He looks a different bowler from his constant menace in the rest of the series.
