I predict that someone will be chucking.

Maybe we will get Aussie umpires. They seem shit hot on chucking recently.Brass Monkey wrote:I predict that someone will be chucking.

TBF, CA's legislation seems totally different to the ICC's.

Is that in response to the Botha citing?taipan wrote:Maybe we will get Aussie umpires. They seem shit hot on chucking recently.Brass Monkey wrote:I predict that someone will be chucking.

A fair chance given they make up one third of the panel... and the four clowns that make up the Ashes Panel will surely be having a rest (well, two of them aren't eligible for this series anyway).taipan wrote:Maybe we will get Aussie umpires. ..Botha is the most obvious chucker since mumu...he needs to be out of the game ...the saffies made a fair call on himembee wrote:Is that in response to the Botha citing?taipan wrote:Maybe we will get Aussie umpires. I have no problem with that. If you chuck then you must go. I will be waiting for an Aussie umpire to have the balls to call Ajmal, who is even more blatant.horace wrote:..Botha is the most obvious chucker since mumu...he needs to be out of the game ...the saffies made a fair call on himembee wrote:Is that in response to the Botha citing?taipan wrote:Maybe we will get Aussie umpires. Botha seems to be playing today as a non bowling/chucking specialist captain...the pity for Botha is that he seems to possess v good leadership skills

Researching chucking I came across this article:
http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafrica/content/story/602640.html
The top comment is priceless.

Must be a bullshit wind-up, unless you haven't actually seen Saeed Ajmal.horace wrote:

Looking like they are using the same concrete pitches as last time.

Ajmal, Botha, and Harbhajan are all blatant chuckers. Ojha is jerky as well. And I've constantly been amazed at how Kyle Mills has gone under the radar for so long. Perhaps it's because he's a Kiwi and no one cares. The Indian connection (Harbhajan and Ojha), and the massive sook-fest there would be if the ICC banned them, is what's preventing them from taking action against other bowlers. Other Boards would argue that Harbhajan and Ojha should be banned if their guy is. Domestic bowlers like Botha can still get reported, but the ICC won't touch international bowlers anymore.

True, Ir was far too pathetic to be classified as a wind up.horace wrote:..no not a wind up but have not seen Ajmal at the ground...but have watched Botha at the ground a couple of times ...have seen Ajmal on the telly...he's as straight as a spivBrass Monkey wrote:Must be a bullshit wind-up, unless you haven't actually seen Saeed Ajmal.horace wrote:

So, because you've seen someone at the ground, 80 yards away, that classes him as the biggest chucker since Murali?
Awesome logic.
Awesome logic.

Doesn't look like Fox Sports are showing this in Aus. Unless they put it on one of their 'extra' channels.
