Quiet start to the season. Sharks & Chiefs are the frontrunner's so far with the 'Tahs not far behind. Crusaders seem to be still suffering post quake blues & are languishing mid table.

There seems to be an increasing lack of interest in this competition. There is a growing feeling in SA that it should be scrapped and rather link up with a NH tournament.
