Still a lot of kicking, not as many stoppages.
Didn't seem to make much difference to the Crusaders.

You enjoyed it?
Turnovers - partly explained by early season timing mishaps.

Jury's still out for mine, Mick. Give it 3 or 4 weeks for the players to get used to it at competitive levels.

Anyone see the Force game?
What was the Force try disallowed for?
Ch 10 news had the Headline "Force cheated" and showed the play but gave no explanation of why it was disallowed ...
PS Anyone want a used Henjak?

Didn't see the Force game.
Your Ch10 would be a tad parochial, no?
And I'm sure Henjak will find a home in leeeeg.

Yeah - coaches will take time to adjust. S14 has usually been more "open" than Test football so we won't be able to draw any concrete conclusions even when the season is done.
I love the idea that the ball is in play for longer - that fatigue becomes a factor again - that captains still have the option to call a scrum after a short arm - that Kaplan told a hooker to get off his fat arse & get on with it.

I recorded it but only fast forwarded through it - can't tell you why - maybe taipan watched it.

Your Ch10 would be a tad parochial, no? A tad ...but in a strange setup they report from Sydney ...not sure if the sports reporter was the one driving the "cheated" claim
And I'm sure Henjak will find a home in leeeeg.

They are investigating ...because it was on licenced premises ...but there hasn't been a complaint from Sare for the assault ...and Henjak left for South Africa pretty quickly after it came to light
The cops are looking for CCTV from the pub , independent witnesses etc ...before they do anything ...the Force disciplinary hearing will probably be reviewed by the cops as well

Cheers mate - that's how it looked to me at 6X speed. I did expect a bit more from the Sharks but I guess they've got a bunch of new players to settle in.

The Blues and the Crusaders went all right. TBH I expected the Bulls, Lions & Cheetahs to make it a scrumathon but that didn't either.

Not the first person of any kind to have the problem but feck don't they just chew you up with their stupidity (says the frustrated, talentless old halfback).

They do ...but I sometimes wonder if they would have the "talent" on field if they were boring as bat's piss off field ...of course some of them just use that line as an excuse to act like total ****** all their life

No question that an elite anything has qualities that are not widely held. Was this X Factor at work here? I truly doubt it - feck he was the first Wallaby sent home in 40 years - guess I should be grateful he's not my father.
