Different opener, same result. Rutherford gone cheaply. Another for Taylor though

Snoozers resort to type. Big collapse to be all out 221.
Re: West Indies v New Zealand, 2nd Test, Port of Spain, 16-20 June, 2014
Looks a good comeback by the Windies on a reportedly green deck. At 1-120 it looked like T1 all over again, but Taylor and benn scythed through the middle order to roll the Snoozies for 220ish.

Windows are making a decent fist of this so far. Would love a WIwin.

Fair effort by Brathwaite. Even seems to have added a couple of strokes to his stodgy defence.

Bravo's been playing nicely and that was a lovely little innings by Edwards

Wowzers, 2 tons for the Windies and Shiv not one of them but currently not out. The Ganjas might make 600 here. The Snoozies are farked up the A.

460 might have been a bit under the odds for the Windies. Snoozies would be happy with the match position, all things considered.

Best debut shot I've ever seen at 01:10. Pure class from the youngster.

Big Benn is bowling freaking well ATM. Winkling out the Snoozies.

Great stuff by the Windies.
btw I've just noticed ST Gabriel's batting stats ... 14 runs in 10 Test innings, with a high score of 13 and a flock of ducks ... we might have a challenger for Chris Martin's stats on our hands if he can maintain his early form.

Snoozies got a bigger lead than expected thanks to Watling and Craig digging in, but the Ganjas take the points easily by 10 wkts. Nice work to square the series.
Crystal looks like he was in IPL mode - 80 off 46 to smear off the 95 needed in a blink!!

Had a shot of getting the fastest ever test century if there were more runs to play with. Selfish of the bowlers not to leave him that opportunity, they should have conceded a few more.skully wrote:Snoozies got a bigger lead than expected thanks to Watling and Craig digging in, but the Ganjas take the points easily by 10 wkts.
