World Cup 2015

This won't be the end for any of them. This is the point always made: they're untouchable. I didn't even realise that the starting XI the other day hadn't played together before. Which means that the plan to bring a settled side to the world cup failed miserably for the third time in a row. They picked the wrong personnel four years ago, stubbornly stuck with them until it was too late and now we're back to square one. Most of us could telegraph what would happen. How? How can a drunken f*ckwad like me be more enlightened than the upper echelons of our cricket governing body? It's a complete disgrace.

Yeah man - all of the teams are imperfect, moreso than before I'd say. But the Anglo-wannabes all look the least imperfect. Can't see past them.

Should have stuck with "boring" though, after persisting with that approach for most of the cycle. At least we could have blamed Cook and co. then, instead of destroying the careers of another generation with performances like this. Scotland next - will it be a case of Colly wobbles? I suspect, as one of the Aussies suggested, a different England will come out and ruthlessly crush them as NZ did to us, before reverting to type against SL.

NZ will continue to do well while all their games are at home. I suspect it will be different when they have to play in Aust.

As bad as the players have been, my artillery is pointing in the direction of Paul Farbrace. This is the gentleman who was poached from Sri Lanka with the specific role of working with the ODI side. The benefits flowing from his appointment are not immediately apparent to me.

Apparently the MCG boundaries will be moved five metres further in for Sunday's India v South Africa game at the MCG.

He has kept the standards from slipping.

The team should just accept they are not up to even the lowest standard in this tournament,
pack up their kit and return home -  rather than be further embarrassed and humiliated.

Peter Moores just isn't up to coaching at this level. Period. End of. Time to close that book forever. Nay, time to burn it. David Saker also seems to be doing f*ck all. Name me a young England bowler who hasn't regressed in the last 18 months? Eoin Morgan seems to be an uninspiring skipper, who hasn't had a decent run of form with the bat for two years. Stuart Broad has given up the fight. His innings today was so pissweak, it must have embarrassed his Dad. Indeed his entire family. Mooen is a decent spinner, but his batting is so airy fairy that he misses more than he hits. Buttler has regressed. Wakes is not an international player, Finn is a shambles......
