6!!!!!! Shaggers make the Final.
Two run outs and Elliott being dropped cost the Yarps big time.
Well done to the Snoozies.

Wow. What a nailbiter. Grant Elliott has got to be pretty happy with himself - icy veins. Unfortunate SA had to loose, they'll be haunted by a few missed opportunities in the field.

Well done NZ. Not unexpected. The weaknesses evident throughout the tournament came home to roost.

If you think about it NZ have made everybody choke:
Chokeladesh
Chokestralia
Chokeland
Chokeghanistan
Choketland
Choke Lanka
Choke Indies
and now Choke Africa.
They should call it the World Choke.

What a great tournament from NZ.
They've nearly all contributed at some stage; I doubt Elliott will ever play a better game for his (adopted) country. Amazing.

New Zealand and it's band of 2 foot elves and 3 toed gnomes will never win in Melbourne.
South Africa was probably the only team who had an even chance to defeat Australia.
seems like all saffers are potential pistorius material who lose it at critical moments.
shame on ICC for hosting semi-finals in stamp sized grounds.

Yes leaky bowling but dropping Abbott proved costly in the end one must think. SA fielding usually better though.
Kiwis will get their comeuppance in Melbourne one might suggest after having the dream run at home. They're too reliant on a few players.
Rain militated against SA because AB was not out and he usually really accelerates at the end. They batted the first two thirds of their innings thinking they had fifty overs. D and L can blight games a bit.

Just an outstanding performance by NZ; they never really looked likely to win, and yet they still found a way.
Sad for Steyn and even ABdV who will probably now never win a world cup.

Re: World Cup 2015 (IV)
Jo'burg Boy wins the game.
(wtf was that flying tackle by Duminy? Concussed, think he was playing flanker?)
Commiz to the Seffrikens, who gave their all. Sharp intake of breath as AB cockily predicted certain victory before the match (and with God on his side, well ...), but this was no ch*ke - just NZ were a quarter-step ahead at the final crunch.
I'm delighted for the often-derided Kiwis. Who have been gaining in substance and style for a few years. In all formats. Hope they smash the Aussies in the final, and put the cherry on the icing on the cake of a great WC. (England apart.)
